Lakṣmī

The Beauty that Sustains Auspiciousness

A one day teaching and practice session to learn about and engage with the Consciousness that Sustains all consciousness. Open to all levels of experience.

November 8, 2026
1-5 p.m. PST

Lakṣmī is not merely wealth, but the auspicious power through which life flourishes, consciousness expresses its fullness, and both material and spiritual well-being are sustained.

As one of Her verses says in the Lakṣmī Aṣṭakam- She is beyond beginning and end, the primordial Śakti, the great sovereign Goddess, born of yoga and sustaining the universe.

Our meeting date is on the auspicious date of Diwalii which heralds the wisdom over ignorance and the celebration of Auspiciousness.

What we will work with:

🌸 Lakṣmī Sahasranāmāvalī
A garland of the 108 names of Lakṣmī. More than just a poetic song- the names are a powerful sequence of sound pulsations that move precisely throughout the subtle body to both open and stabilize a matrix of Her consciousness.

🌸 Lakṣmī Aṣṭakam
a devotional hymn of eight verses dedicated to Goddess Lakṣmī, the embodiment of auspiciousness, abundance, beauty, prosperity, and divine grace.
Although frequently approached as a prayer for material prosperity, the hymn carries a broader spiritual significance.

🌸 Pañcapūjā
The Five-Fold Worship — fragrance, flower, incense, light, and food — offered to the Goddess with full presence and attention. This is the heartbeat of daily Tāntric practice. It is intimate, sensory, and deeply stabilizing. Established with care, even a modest home altar becomes an initiatory space. Pañcapūjā is not decoration — it is a complete act of surrender and recognition, engaging body, senses, and awareness in a single unified gesture.

Nita Rubio is an initiated Yoginī in the Śrī Vidyā and Kaula schools of Tantra, traditions that honor and emphasize the living presence of Śakti in all aspects of life.

Her path is rooted in direct transmission and deep sādhanā. Nita holds authorization to teach and transmit these sacred practices from Yoginī and Śrī Vidyā adept, Uma Parvatīnatha Sarasvatī. With unwavering dedication, Nita continues her studies under the guidance and grace of  Uma Parvatīnath

With a deep respect for the integrity of these living traditions, Nita approaches her teaching with great care and often large doses  of humor (stick around for that).  Her classes are intimate initiatory spaces that invite sincere seekers into the heart of Śakti through the precise application of traditional techniques, while also honoring the modern practitioner's unique needs to bring practices into daily life.
